So many dull eyes that I cannot think!
Nor can I see, through this sea.
A sea of discontent that lays before me,
As I try to walk on water.
Oh if only to water those sore, sore, dry eyes,
Dull and with a lackluster smile plastered to their face!

Speak to me they do, and I listen,
Through all their lies comes a kernel of truth,
If only to be turned and popped by the next pair.
Not a pair, they are more than that, a smile should be included!

So yet I walk among them, swimming in their eyes,
Reading what they say with my eyes,
Listening to what they watch with my ears,
trying to become what they need,
    So that in their need,
    They will hold me up,
Until one day I am able to walk on water.

i can respect any person that can write their own epitaph....

and doubly heed them when it was as good as that one.
